Money isn't everything and Dry River is trying to work outside the capitalist system, but we gotta pay the rent and other expenses. No one will be turned away for financial reasons. However, this is a community event, created and supported by the community. If you aren't able to pay the $5-20 sliding scale cover, ask at the door about other ways you can contribute to the event. There's always something that needs to be done.
